The Wall 03:37
There is a tide pushing you ashore You‘re in a never-ending story of things we knew before But now, what do you stand for There is a fire feeding on your soul There is a chance you may be daunted by the wall I know, you‘re out of control There is a storm raging in your eyes Say, where‘s your love when you get lost in anger, fear and lies And why are you so sure that you‘re right You‘re in the lands of never-ending obscurity You‘re getting lost in all-too-easy adversity Now I can see why you don‘t like me Every single day our minds get one step closer to the wall But this won‘t be the end for us at all There is a tide pushing you ashore We‘re in a never-ending story of things we knew before But now, what do you stand for Well, look around. The fever‘s spreading out Those people run, run, run their heads against a cloud But now we‘re gonna tear the wall down Every single day our minds get one step closer to the wall But this won‘t be the end for us at all

So we go down to the club, it was a Saturday night There is a party going on at the bar I get some drinks for my friends, I feel that something is wrong, When suddenly that face comes along He says: I wonder, who do you think you are? Have you looked around, because this is not your bar This is a place for cool cats with a certain sense of style But you’re a ticket, you’re a seven and six, oh yes, you are. There are some songs you sing that are not nearly cool enough I reckon you should better get lost So I slowly turn around, I keep my thoughts to myself, Let’s hope that aggro guy will slowly back off But when I turn away from him, another bloke comes along Hey you, what are you looking at, now? He says: I wonder, who do you think you are? Have you looked around, because this is not your bar This is a place for people like us, but you’re a fraud With your hair and your shoes and your shirt, but that’s not all … There are some songs you sing that are not nearly cool enough I reckon you should better get lost Luckily my friends are here, I leave him alone. We grab our gear and make our way to the front. Turns out those jerks were really that, ‘cause no-one else seems to care, And everyone is singing along. They sing: I wonder, who do you think you are? Have you looked around, because we’re all just having fun Are you too insecure? Are you afraid to let it show? If you don’t like it here, that is fine, but you should know If for the songs we sing you are not really cool enough Just open up your mind or get lost

We'll Be OK 03:42
I go down to your café On a sunny day in the morning time Thinking how it’s much too soon I’ve been pondering for a day Over all that stuff that I said to you There was nothing else to do Oh I understand you like me, yes you do And I’m in love Just unlike you So you and I said goodbye You were right There was nothing else to say Well I’m here now anyway Once in a while I can lie To myself, just for my sake Cause I need you anyway I’ll be ok You come down to your café On a sunny day in the afternoon I’ve been here for quite a while You’re all smiles and I feel grey And I know, no matter now what you say, I can read it from your eyes Yeah, I understand you like me, yes you do And i’m in love Just unlike you So you and I said goodbye You were right There was nothing else to say Well I’m here now anyway Once in a while I can lie To myself, just for your sake Cause you need me anyway We’ll be ok

Hey you! I’ve seen you before I don’t know who you are but I don’t want to ignore you Well, I don’t know your world, I’ve been away for too long But now that I’m here, why don’t we try to learn some more Well, I just want you to know There may be nothing to say yet there is so much to show Now take your time and walk two steps away from the old You’ll find someone new if only you could do something bold enough to spark their interest Are you really just too coy to go and meet someone new Or are you petrified of finding something that might challenge your views Are you really trying to say that you don’t want to know what all those people are like Are you willing to state there is nothing to learn except the things that you’ve known all your life

Rise & Fall 04:01
You had it all That’s just one of your lies that you would tell Now it’s an old memory Where did it go They did not see you for who you were They did not care Only the old scenery They wouldn’t forget You won’t believe your eyes, without a warning The world keeps turning around and you’re alive So you walk away from the light until the evening Another day for your lies and then the night You did it all for yourself Now who could tell They knew it before, knew it well But chose to ignore You had it all That’s just one of your lies There’s so much more That you just ignored carelessly Then they let you fall You won’t believe your eyes, without a warning The world keeps turning around and you’re alive So you walk away from the light until the evening Another day for your lies and then the night And we watch you rise and fall

Mercy Please 03:02
I’ve always been good to you But this time I won’t Don’t wanna say it the painful way But you give me no other choice You hold me too tight I've got no air to breathe Like a ship taken by a giant squid I got pulled into the sea Please have mercy I didn’t do you no harm Please release me You’ve pushed me too far It’s been years, you became my wife Enough is enough It’s time to push things forward so what're you waiting for? It’s obvious to see It’s time to go separate ways It feels like being in a panic room So please open up the door Please have mercy I didn’t do you no harm Please release me You’ve pushed me too far

Dare to Know 01:57
Revolution Do you really know the answers? Relieve me of my sorrow You’ll find solutions That is what you say If we just wait for tomorrow But no more tricks We see what you’re about We say no (yeah - yeah) The here and now is coming round Your great ideas are nothing but a show We say no (yeah - yeah) They’ll soon all let you down, so now Why decide for easy answers? Use your mind You’ve been fooled for so long No more lies I’m sure that we can find our way If we just dare to know Institutions Do you really know the reasons? Relieve me of my trouble Retribution That is what you promise Just hide inside your bubble But no more tricks We see what you’re about We say no (yeah - yeah) The here and now is coming round The great torment is nothing but a show We say no (yeah - yeah) We’ll soon just take it down, so now Why decide for easy answers? Use your mind You’ve been fooled for so long No more lies I’m sure that we can find our way If we just dare to know
